What is a PhD program?

The PhD is the highest level of education provided by postgraduate university education and corresponds to European Qualification Framework (EQF) level 8.
At the end of the PhD program, students will have achieved:

  • Cutting-edge knowledge in a specific scientific field or area of work, or at the interface between the two;
  • Advanced methodological skills and techniques, including those of evaluation and synthesis, aimed at solving complex problems in research and professional situations;
  • Situational skills in problem solving, innovation, autonomy, and creativity in learning processes, evaluation, and original growth.

It is divided into research areas.
